Built around the model Equipment → People → Locations → Assignments → Checkouts → Inspections → Maintenance → Faults → History. A Next.js 16 application with server actions, Prisma 7 on PostgreSQL, role-based access with seven default roles, and an idempotent bootstrap that is safe to run on every deploy.
Overview
Volunteer and small organisations track equipment in spreadsheets that drift out of date. Registry gives them a single record per item with assignments, checkouts, inspections, maintenance schedules and a full history.
Architecture
Zod schemas are shared between forms and server actions so validation happens once. Roles and permissions are seeded on first run, and the seed never overwrites existing data.
